HARTLEPOOL UNITED (4-1-4-1):

6 Killip: Beaten by an early header which hit the post, and that aside little to do. Tried to get Pools on the attack swiftly with his distribution;

6 Donaldson: Got forward and swung over a lovely cross for Keena in the second-half, but Pools missed him in the middle

6 LIDDLE: Never troubled by the opposition again, comfortable throughout and knocks the ball around well from the back

6 Odusina: A busy game, stretched at times. Was switched on throughout and was put under pressure in possession at times

6 Kitching: Didn’t get chance to get forward as much in the second-half as he normally would on the left side;

5 Featherstone: Man marked during the game, such has been his influence of game and the opposition stifled him in the middle;

6 Molyneux: When Pools were on top and looking like scoring, was the player most likely to create that key opening

5 Shelton: Quiet by his busy standards, didn’t get involved as much and replaced late on in the second-half

5 Holohan: Another in the middle of the park in blue and white who didn’t get a grip of the opposition in there

6 Toure: In and out of the game, saw plenty of the ball and always could have done more with it than he managed;

5 Keena: One second-half header had to be put away, score that and Pools win the game.
