PREMIER LEAGUE Referee Martin Atkinson will be guest speaker at the Bishop Auckland Referees’ Association next month.
Atkinson officiated in over 350 top-flight matches since 2004 and took part in the 2012 European Championships when he was a FIFA referee.
He visits the Bishop Auckland Referees’ Association on Thursday, October 17 at The Manor public house, Cornwall Place starting at 7.30pm. All are welcome, those interested in attending are asked to confirm via email with secretary Simon Clayton on claytonsimon@sky.com to book a place.
Terry Farley MBE, president of Bishop Auckland Referees’ Association, said: “Martin is a vastly experienced referee, one of the top referees this country has produced and it is fantastic to welcome him back to Bishop Auckland as our guest speaker.”
