ENTRIES are still being accepted for Washington Running Club’s annual Bottoms Up Cup, which takes place this Sunday.

The 5k run, in and around Princess Anne Park in the town, is a memorial race in memory of one of the club’s original members, Stephen Bottoms. Money will be raised on the day for Bloodwise who have helped several club members over the years.

The course has been changed slightly to a faster and less congested route and includes a few hills and some trail running.

The fastest male and female runners (and over 40s) will be presented with a trophy.

Entry is £8 for UKA members/club runners and £10 non-affiliated. Entries can be made on the day at £10, with registration at St Robert’s School from 9am.

There is also a one-mile kids fun run with entries on day £2.50.
