SPENNYMOOR TOWN have announced reduced season ticket prices for the 2019-20 season, with prices cut by an average of 33 per cent.

Adult season tickets now cost £150, concessions (over 60s) £110 and under 18s £30, with under 10s remaining free with a paying adult.

Additionally, two new family tickets offer further discounts. Two adults and one under 18 will get a ticket for £300 – meaning the U18 ticket is free. Meanwhile two adults and two children will cost £320, which includes one U18 ticket for free and a 33 per cent discount on the second.

Brad Groves, Town chief executive, said: “We have always been mindful of offering our supporters value and I think they’d agree that we do.

"We have some of the finest facilities, hospitality and catering offers in non-league football, including our own match day pub, The Moors Tavern. Of course, we’ve also displayed some phenomenal football on the pitch too.

“We’ve made another significant investment in the ground with major refurbishments now taking place ready for August. We’ll be releasing more information on this soon, but it will all add something to match days at The Brewery Field.

“The 2019-20 season is going to be massive for us. This is the season that must show how far this club can go and this pricing structure is designed to both reward existing season ticket holders for their loyalty and also attract new ones.”

Tony Wilson, managing director, added: “We’re putting every effort into making Spennymoor Town the best value-for-money football club in the North East of England. We’re now one of the cheapest clubs in our division to watch and cheaper than many teams further down in the pyramid. For example, the average price across the Northern League is now £7 per game. Our season ticket holders’ price per game is just pennies more than this.

“But we need a response from supporters. We need to sell more season tickets and we need to increase our average attendance. Essentially, this year will determine what sort of fan base Spennymoor Town can really have and just how far this club can go.”

Season tickets can be bought online at spennymoortownfc.co.uk or at the The Moors Tavern.
