HOW did the players fare in Newcastle's 2-1 win over Manchester City?
NEWCASTLE (5-4-1):
6 Dubravka: Got into a poor position for Aguero’s opener, but made an excellent second-half save from Silva
7 Yedlin: Put in a real shift down the right-hand side and restricted Sane to a handful of effective moments
9 SCHAR: Defended superbly to prevent City’s attackers enjoying any joy – has been one of the signings of the season
8 Lascelles: Marshalled Newcastle’s defence superbly from the heart of the back five and aside from the first minute, barely gave Aguero an inch
7 Lejeune: Was always in the right place to deal with City’s attacking threat and looks to be back to his best form
8 Ritchie: Held his nerve superbly to drill home the winning spot-kick and won his defensive battle against the dangerous Sterling
7 Perez: Created problems as he ran at the City defence in the second half, with his energy proving to be infectious
7 Hayden: His header set up Rondon’s equaliser and he held his own against City’s world-class midfielders
8 Longstaff: Continues to hold his own against top-six opposition and was alert enough to nick the ball off Fernandinho to win the penalty
7 Atsu: Was a bright attacking presence all night and continues to justify his inclusion in the starting side ahead of Kenedy
8 Rondon: Claimed Newcastle’s equaliser with an excellent first-time finish and led the line impressively all evening
