TEENAGE Middlesbrough striker Tyrone O'Neill has moved to Hartlepool United on loan.
The 19-year-old has signed for Pools until the end of the year.
He played in Boro's Under-21 Checkatrade Trophy win at Port Vale in midweek and boss Matthew Bates watched him play for Boro U21s last weekend.
Born in Grangetown, O'Neill has been granted permission to play in the FA Cup and will be in the squad for tomorrow's game at Gillingham.
Bates said: "He’s still only young but I am sure he’s a player who the fans will enjoy watching because he’s whole-hearted, works very hard and he will offer something different to what we’ve got.”
