JOSE Mourinho has been charged by the Football Association again over comments made after Manchester United's victory over Newcastle at Old Trafford on October 6. It is alleged the United boss used language that was "insulting and/or abusive and/or improper".

The Portuguese has had numerous brushes with authority over the years.

Here, Press Association Sport looks at his disciplinary record since the start of his second spell at Chelsea in 2013 and during his United reign.

After Chelsea imploded late in the first half, Mourinho was sent to the stands at West Ham for a half-time "discussion" with referee Jonathan Moss.

Mourinho was sent to the stands for the second half against Burnley by referee Mark Clattenburg after allegedly using "abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official" in the tunnel at half-time.
