FOUR of Newcastle United’s matches in December and January have been selected for live television coverage.

The Magpies’ home game against Wolves has been put back 24 hours and will now take place on Sunday, December 9 (4pm).

Sky Sports have also opted to televise Newcastle’s home game with Manchester United, with the game now scheduled for Wednesday, January 2 (8pm). That means the Magpies will not have a fixture on New Year’s Day.

Newcastle’s trip to Chelsea will be screened on BT Sport, and while it will still be played on Saturday, January 12, the game at Stamford Bridge will now kick-off at 5.30pm.

Finally, the Magpies’ home game with reigning champions Manchester City has also been selected by BT Sport, with the game now taking place on Tuesday, January 29 (8pm).
