LUKE WILLIAMS has signed for Hartlepool United for a second time.
After moving on loan from Middlesbrough in 2014 under Colin Cooper, the Boro Academy product has since played for Peterborough, Coventry and Scunthorpe.
He has been training with Pools for a number of weeks and the club was keen to get him back permanently.
Williams played a key role under Cooper and assistant Craig Hignett as Pools staved off the threat of relegation.
The creative midfielder was released by Scunthorpe after an injury-hit season in May.
