JACK MUNNS has left Hartlepool United, just one year after joining.
The 24-year-old mutually agreed with the club to have his contract at Victoria Park cancelled.
The midfielder joined Pools last summer following his release from Cheltenham and went on to make 18 appearances, scoring one goal, but started just five times in the league largely because of ill health.
Munns has now left with immediate effect and Hartlepool “wish him all the best for his future career.”
And Hartlepool have confirmed that young defender Aaron Cunningham has joined Blyth Spartans on a half-season loan.
The 20-year-old, who is comfortable in midfield, has been given the chance to play more regularly after suffering an ankle problem last season and rebuilding his fitness levels.
Cunningham made his debut against Torquay United at the end of last season when he was red carded and now he will test himself in the National League North after completing a three match ban.
