SIMON GRAYSON has made four changes to his Sunderland side for this evening's Championship home game with Nottingham Forest.

The Black Cats will attempt to record their first home victory since mid-December, and will need to produce a marked improvement from the display that saw them lose 2-1 to Sheffield United at the weekend.

Grayson has made two changes to his defence, with Adam Matthews and Bryan Oviedo coming in to the side to replace Brendan Galloway and Lamine Kone.

Lee Cattermole returns from injury at the heart of midfield, with the skipper replacing Jack Rodwell, who drops out of the side despite scoring a late consolation against the Blades.

The final change sees Callum McManaman come in to make his first Sunderland start, with James Vaughan dropping down to the substitutes' bench.

Nottingham Forest name two former Sunderland players - Liam Bridcutt and Daryl Murphy - in their starting line-up.
