Who or what inspired you to take up photography?
Early retirement
What was your first camera?
A Canon Sureshot.
What do you most enjoy photographing and why?
Architecture, cathedrals, part shots and detail of features as opposed to the "whole subject". My preference is for black and white.
Your favourite picture?
No favourites as yet – I'm still searching!
Your go-to kit at the moment?
A Canon D3100.
Do you spend much time in post-production and what software do you use?
Not much but I have Photoshop Elements 11, Topaz and I also use Picasa 3 for quickness and simple edits.
Any advice for budding photographers?
Get to know your camera well, get out and do it. Take lots of shots, try different angles and think about composition.
