YOU can’t beat a Tory Government for unemployment and total misery for the man in the street.

Back in the Sixties they had a cull on rail workers and tens of thousands of good solid people lost their jobs. Move into the Eighties and they took a dislike to the miners,.

Today, public sector workers are in their sights with plans to put nearly a million of them out of work.

Unemployment under both Margaret Thatcher and John Major approached three million, as it does today.

Their answer is to shout from the rooftops: “The Welfare Bill is too high.”

Well, stop putting people out of work.
