IS quantitative easing a joke?
The Bank of England has supposedly made £75 bn appear from nowhere at the touch of a plastic button without one single note being printed. How very clever.
Bank governor Mervyn King states that this invisible money will be used to help keep small businesses afloat with help from, guess who, the banks.
Giving more money to the banks is similar to giving a job to Ronnie Biggs as a warehouse supervisor.
If it is that easy to produce cash by touching a button, wouldn’t it be just as easy to eradicate debt the same way?
