YET again despite the festive season and goodwill to all, Christopher Wardell it seems cannot take a vacation and continues to enthrall us all with his inane ramblings (HAS, Dec 22), this time on the gripping subject of “snoods” as worn by certain footballers who mostly come from hotter climates than freezing Britain.
It is ironic as Mr Wardell seems to have his own season ticket to Hear All Sides.
Mr Wardell should be given his own column, “The Wit of Wardell”, one day a month.
That way other people may get the chance to write more relevant, topical and interesting letters and I will be able to save 45p by giving Mr Wardell’s “wit”
a very wide berth.
