IF whoever cut Soham murderer Ian Huntley’s throat had done a proper job there would not be a claim for compensation from him – but I think they should give him the £100,000 he is asking for.

Then divide the money in half and give it to the families of his ten-year-old victims, Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.

No doubt the criminal justice system cannot do that for some reason so the girls’ families should sue Huntley for every penny he’s got, and likely to receive in the future, over the deaths of their daughters.

The death penalty should never have been abolished – the jails would only be half-full and Huntley and his like would be well gone.
