I HAVE been reading The Northern Echo every day for many years, and having noticed your interest in animal welfare issues have been wondering what can be done to stop cruelty and neglect.
The reintroduction of the Dog Registration Scheme, which was abandoned many years ago on the grounds of cost, would go some way to addressing this.
