I VISITED the Oxford Road Surgery in Spennymoor on Sunday evening at 5.45pm to be greeted with smiling, friendly faces.
It felt more like a wedding reception than a vaccination clinic. Tilley, who ‘saw’ to me, was wonderful. She had been on duty since 8am. I felt like her first patient. Her personal, professional approach was so reassuring.
To reassure anyone in the Spennymoor area, I hardly felt a thing. It is now 2.10pm the following day, and I have no effects at all.
I drink a toast to the whole establishment. Whatever they are paid, it is not enough!
