I’D like to respond to Alan Stewart’s letter headlined “US Conman” (HAS, Dec 23) which was a complete opposite of what I’d stated.
Our beliefs are miles apart, nothing wrong with that, each to their own.
Now to answer his question of how 70m Americans voted for Donald Trump: they’ve lived under his leadership for four years and must regard him as a better bet than Joe Biden.
Although Trump lost, 70m votes is an unbelievable amount and a testament to how he’s regarded by half of America.
