ON one hand we are told that the country’s borrowing is the worst for 300 years or it;s the worst since the Second World War or then it’s the worst ever, but then on the other we are told we are one of the richest countries in the world but it will take three lifetimes to pay our debt back by which time we will all be bankrupt. Does anyone in power actually know what’s going on?
