I WATCHED two programmes on Covid last week. On Monday Channel 4’s Despatches looked at “jobs for the boys and girls”, with contracts given to companies which were friends of MPs.
Track and Trace was depicted as an absolute shambles, with the person in charge not having a clue.
On Thursday on BBC2, I saw just how slow the Government reaction had been at the start of the year, when all the warning signs were there well before the March lockdown.
Sometime in the future when things are back to normal, the Government will be judged and will probably go down in history as the most useless bunch ever. If it wasn’t so serious it would be laughable.
