IT is good that you covered the review of the greyhound industry (Echo, Nov 29). However, the proposals will only go so far.
It is not possible totally to eradicate the cruelty of the greyhound industry, therefore the only answer is for thoughtful people to avoid supporting it in any way.
One day, people will look back on greyhound racing as we do today on cock fighting, and wonder how we could have allowed this cruelty to our fellow creatures.
