I FIND the TV adverts these days very depressing. As we get older, we tend to watch more TV.

On an afternoon most of them are about funeral plans, things like “Pure Cremation”. Then we have “can you give £2 or £3” to save this and that, I do wonder how much of this money eventually goes to the actual cause.

What a breath of fresh air it is to watch the Lloyds Bank advert with the world’s most famous steam locomotive Flying Scotsman running like a well-oiled sewing machine and the majestic black horse running on the beach.

The very best advert for many years in my opinion.
