AFTER a mix up in the queue arrangements in Yarm Road Post Office, I went to the shop counter.
After being served with a transaction at the Post Office counter, and as I glanced in a certain direction another person in the shop queue indicated I should be at the end his queue, so I made my way to where I should have been.
After he was served I remarked “I would still speak to him in the street”.
He gave me a wave and acknowledged my remark on his way of the door.
It gave me pleasure putting a smile on a stranger’s face, during these anxious and demanding times.
