IT was wonderful to stand in the street again and clap in celebration of our NHS, but while wishing happy birthday to the NHS, it’s worth remembering how it’s very much under threat after being steadily chipped away at for years.
Don’t forget that the Tories did everything they could to stop it being set up in the first place and voted in droves against the law that established it.
Even today the NHS is hated by market-chaos ideologues like our ridiculous prime minister “BoJo the clown” and the Conservative party in general.
Meanwhile most people in this country love the NHS and always have done.
We now need to stop BoJo and his rich-boy toff chums from quietly sucking the life and cash out of it as they have been able to do for way too long.
