I MUST agree with former Redcar MP Anna Turley when she writes about the lack of jobs and accountability from the South Tees Development Corporation, (Echo, June 30).
Over the years there have been press releases about the site on an almost weekly basis.
Tory Mayor Ben Houchen has announced so many projects he’s probably forgotten all about them - we certainly have.
His 20 year jobs projection means there will be no accountability whatsoever regarding the 20,000 local positions he has promised.
Few will hold him to account by the year 2040.
