I WAS under the impression that due to the present coronavirus crisis, footballers were to be banned from the disgusting habit of spitting and blowing their noses onto the pitch every five minutes.
However, watching some of the televised game on BBC1 at the weekend between Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, this was not the case.
I sincerely hope the Government makes it their business to implement this ban with immediate effect and that the ban remains in place when the coronavirus crisis is over.
