LAST week I watched a programme about dementia, there are people paying up to £100,000 a year in care homes – if they can find one – which is ridiculous.
Why can’t the Government build community sites with all the amenities for them to be looked after at low cost.
Homes would be ideal without having to sell their homes, people who have served their country are left with nothing, with most pensioners struggling with all the cut backs, like the over 75s TV licence being withdrawn.
OAPs are not getting looked after in the few years they have left to live, Boris.
