THE mayor of Middlesbrough, Andy Preston is 100 per cent right regarding the non-removal of statues of Captain James Cook, a great man in the history of Great Britain. Most Teessiders are proud of his achievements and discovery of lands across the world. It is deplorable that the BLM campaign shows no respect for the history of our great country during a serious virus.
