WHILE lying in bed the other morning, my thoughts centred around all the financial appeals every day from the very many different charities advertised daily on TV etc.
It would be really lovely if all wealthy people and Euro Millions winners could somehow all get together up and down this wonderful country of ours and form some sort of public fund to support these very many charities and poorer people of this country as well.
Many of these people will already be giving to needy worthwhile causes, but I bet many people are not giving a single thought about the above.
Me, personally, I’m just a simple pensioner. In August it’ll be three years since I gave up 65 years of regular beer drinking and fag smoking so I can afford to give a little to charities now, thankfully.
