WE needed to call British Gas when our boiler stopped producing hot water.
Because of the Covid virus threat we have been isolating and were not happy to have strangers in our house for any reason.
However, when the engineer, Sean (or Shaun) called us to tell us he was on the way, he gave us instructions on how to stay safe and keep himself safe also.
We simply had to stay out of the kitchen while the boiler was repaired.
Sean kept us informed by telephone what he was doing and found he needed a part he did not have, to complete the repair.
This was late afternoon but he assured us that he would order the part and return the following morning to finish the work.
True to his word he was back mid-morning and again, keeping us in touch by telephone as to what was happening, had the repair done and serviced the boiler at the same time.
At all times he wore PPE and stayed isolated, making us very happy.
After he had left the house he phoned us once more to check whether we were happy with his work to which we replied we were very pleased with the service he had provided.
With service this good we are happy to recommend British Gas.
