READING the front page of the Echo (May 26), you would think that all of Barnard Castle was up in arms about Dominic’s ‘Cummings’ and goings.
Well, I am a resident of Barnard Castle and as Shakespeare said in my opinion there’s ‘Much ado about nothing’.
This is very much a politically-motivated story by a certain section who believe the Conservative Party would be much weaker without him.
Looking on the brighter side it has certainly put Barnard Castle on the map, which can only be a good thing.
