I AM writing this letter to say thank you to the pupils and staff of Red Hall School in Darlington.
Since the lockdown, they have been dropping off food parcels three times a week to all 34 flats in Festing Court.
Even an Easter egg at Easter and also thanks to a gentleman who paid for Easter lunch for us all.
The care, empathy and generosity is greatly appreciated.
I am a mum, nanna and great-nanna but haven’t seen my family with the way things are.
A girl called Cassie put a picture of a rainbow and letter in my food parcel.
The empathy shown by these people is worth any schooling they have.
Many thanks and good wishes.
Name supplied, Darlington.
