HEAR ALL SIDES: Letters to the editor
IF a local takeaway (in a small way) was to inflict on people the death and heartache caused by China, health and safety, trading standards, police etc would descend on the shop and fines and jail sentences would ensue.
Yet, no leader around the world has condemned China, and its appalling treatment of animals, and the horrendous conditions they are kept in.
Time after time an animal disease comes out of China and I wonder what next after coronavirus?
Will it be a disease that kills everyone it infects? I have taken a vow to never knowingly buy anything ‘made in China’.
