ON July 30, 2019 we, along with many others, were forced out of our home by severe flooding.
We rang our insurance company, Prudential, and they had men on the job removing carpets the same day.
They also fixed us up with accommodation while things were organised to re-instate our home.
We would like to thank the surveyors and especially the builders, Cascade Construction, whose joiners, plumbers, electricians, plasterers and decorators made a first-class job of restoring our home and garden, including our boundary wall which was washed away.
Fortunately, we have since removed a dry stone wall which caused the property to flood, in the event that it happens again, water can now run away instead of forming a lake!
