HOW did this country get through the last world war?

There was shortage of just about everything, nobody panicked, they just got on with it the best they could.

I didn’t think I’ll live to see the day when people are squabbling over toilet rolls.

In a supermarket one customer was giving the assistant some grief because they were limiting the amount you could put in your trolley.

It’s not a case of looking after one another – it’s “I don’t care as long as I’ve got my share”.

Bloody selfish, and totally stupid.
