THE work on the throughabout on Darlington’s Haughton Road grinds on interminably and its purpose I assume is to ease the flow of traffic which at peak times was backed up well towards the town.
Can someone who understands these measures explain how reducing both Haughton Road approaches to the roundabout from two lanes to one will achieve this?
