THE deliberate killing of barn owls by a university, after inserting painful electrodes into their sensitive brains, is not justified.
I’m baffled that this is allowed to happen and that our governments then hypocritically pretend to be on the side of the natural environment.
How much lower can they stoop? After all, these iconic birds are amongst some of the most beautiful and intelligent creatures on planet Earth.
Most studies don’t work in humans and it’s time cruel vivisection was outlawed in favour of more reliable and humane procedures.
