I WAS reading about the closure of Mangobean in the Feethams development in Darlington (Echo, Feb 6). When I go past this development the thing that strikes me is all the black glass. It says to me: "This is private. We do not want you to see what is behind the glass."
Surely a fundamental requirement of a shop is that they have a window that attracts the customer in. Who wants to go into a place that looks dark dingy and deserted?
