REGARDING the two letters (Echo, Nov 11), of which Chris Foote Wood was mentioned in one ‘Election talk’ and wrote the second ‘Much more’, my vote goes to Brian Abbott’s letter.

The only reason we are having a General Election is because of Brexit, so if you voted to leave then you cannot vote for a party that says they will decide what to do if they are elected, when most of the previous talk from them was that they want to have another referendum (hoping to “remain”?).

However, I think Bishop Auckland, along with most of the other Labour seats that voted to leave will still vote for Labour.

If this happens then I hope they do not start crying if Labour get in and then a second referendum votes for remain.
