Letters: 'It is time we stopped kidding ourselves that the EU is for our benefit'

We are not going to solve these issues if we are allowing this country to be subservient to the rest of the EU.

We are losing our skilled jobs to the rest of the EU and other parts of the globe and in desperation, are borrowing on a grand scale. A debt that will in the not so distant future, will make the depression of the early 20th century a picnic and anyone who says different, is living in cuckoo land or misleading us with lies.

It is time we stopped kidding ourselves that the EU is for our benefit and start earning our keep.
