I ADMIRE Jonathan Ruffer’s efforts to revitalise Bishop Auckland.
However, having been born in the town and been in business there for most of my life, I cannot understand how his organisation’s buying most of the properties around our magnificent town centre and leaving them all empty and deteriorating for about four years, can be beneficial to the town.
Can anyone please enlighten me?
