HEAR ALL SIDES: Letters to the Editor
WITH reference to J Jackson (HAS, Oct 3) regarding missed buses, I was on a bus stand in Bishop Auckland last week which had a digital display showing when the next three buses were due.
My bus was supposed to be the first due to arrive, but the first that did arrive was not mine but one that was 11 minutes early. Then the next one that turned up was not mine but another which was six minutes early. Then came mine, which arrived more or less on time.
The point being that people are missing buses because they are early rather than late. Timetables are there for a reason, Mr Driver!
