GEORGE BURNHAM (HAS, Sept 30) suggests that once we achieve a no-deal Brexit we will be able to strike trade deals “on our own terms”.

Perhaps he would like to inform Donald Trump of this fact since Donald is constantly stating that any deal with the UK will be on US terms.

They will include lower food quality standards, lower standards of animal welfare and unfettered access to the NHS by US health giants. Some trade deal.

Is that what we would wish for?
