IT is good news that the Government has confirmed the plans to upgrade the A66 by dualling the remaining single carriageways.
But I can’t help but think it will never happen in our lifetime.
In my opinion it takes ten years to think, ten years to plan and ten years to build, which in turn will then cost ten times more than the estimated cost now.
