WITH the selection of Jo Swinson as leader of the Liberal Democrats, the report that she is going to close her party’s conference with the comparison of a no-deal Brexit as being like burning your house down, and saying she will cancel Article 50, if elected, is the name the British Party for Europe more appropriate for the party.
Do the members know the meaning of the words Liberal and Democrat?
I don’t think they do.
