ONE minute we are being told we are sinking under a food mountain, the next minute we are going to starve to death if we leave the EU, even though we have been warned that we have too much lamb in the country, far too much for its millions of meat eaters meaning they will have to be culled – what a load of rubbish.
What a ridiculous situation – our lamb, beef, onions, carrots, cheese, plums etc are easily as good if not better than any imported produce, and the decrease in the carbon footprint makes it an environmental must.
