Bishop Auckland Town Hall
REGARDING Barbara Bell’s letter about Bishop Auckland Town Hall (HAS, Sept 9), I couldn’t agree more.
My husband and I attend the weekly dance on Tuesdays where 50-plus people attend. Has anyone on the council actually surveyed the town hall prior to all “needed alterations”? The town hall looks modern, the decoration is decent and there is plenty of space for all amenities. The money could have been used to tidy the high street up and bus station.
