Honda is closing its factory at Swindon, Ford’s engine factory at Bridgend will close, Jaguar Land Rover is cutting thousands of jobs, whilst Nissan at Sunderland has gone back on a promise to build the X-Trail SUV there.
Car production has fallen for 14 consecutive months.
Hardly a ringing endorsement of a no-deal Brexit.
He also mocks Mark Carney because of his suggestion that the pound would crash.
The pound may not have crashed but has fallen steadily as all foreign holidaymakers will know to their cost.
