WHINFIELD ROAD in Darlington is deteriorating almost daily, as I have said before in Hear All Sides.
The 30mph speed limit is totally ignored.
If the council installed two or three speed cameras, it would never be short of funds again.
It may also deter drivers from using the road for Formula 1 practice.
Now to my current concern.
The northern perimeter of Haughton Education Village is Whinfield Road. The footpath towards Stockton Road is an absolute disgrace – brambles strewn across it, hanging from fences ready to slash someone’s face and behind the fence is no man’s land.
I voiced my concerns six weeks ago. It was looked at, but that was all.
The school may have a number of ongoing projects but I would have thought that public safety would have been of paramount importance?
